Palm Springs

.

Palm Springs, CA is truly a place like no where else! People come to experience it’s renown mid century style and retro, desert vibes but stay for the beautiful weather and amazing food scene. If you are looking for a great option for a friends trip, bachelor/bachelorette retreat, or couples getaway, Palm Springs should definitely be on your radar! You can get here by flying into the local airport – Palm Springs International Airport. While some guests opt to rent a car during their stay, if you are looking for an authentic stay we recommend using the bikes that most resorts offer to their guests! There is no better way to experience this adorable town then cruising the streets on a colorful bicycle.

Best Times to Visit: The best time to visit Palm Springs is between January and April when the weather is the most hospitable. Fall’s temperatures are almost as nice, but unless you love the heat, we wouldn’t recommend visiting in the summertime when daily highs regularly reach the triple digits.

Things to do:

Take in the sites of The Valley from the Aerial Tramway. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over 2.5 miles along the cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting visitors to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area. During this ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering spectacular vistas of the valley below.

Tour the mid century houses of Palm Springs. The Mod Squad has perfectly curated an amazing “Essential Palm Springs” tour for visitors looking to see the iconic design of the city. In just 90 minutes, discover what makes Palm Springs the mecca for mid-century modern architecture and still have time to relax by the pool! With a maximum of five individuals per tour,  Palm Springs Mod Squad tours are intimate, personalized experiences.

Relax! While the food and downtown scene is vibrant and fun to explore, there is no better way to spend your time in Palm Springs than simply relaxing at one of the amazingly designed pools or famous spa’s! No one does relaxing weekend retreat quite like Palm Springs so make sure to leave time to recharge your battery during your stay.
